Lick is a magazine that I co-created with Dreamland – the Editor in Chief is a famous, fictional 16-year-old named Jamie Baker. She is really good friends with Cher. The cover star is a fictional reclusive child pianist prodigy who opened for Celine Dion’s A New Day residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Tragically, her aunt and legal guardian shattered the bones in one of her hands and she was never able to play again. Jamie nabs an exclusive interview. The magazine also features interviews with real people: Annie Sprinkle, internet artist Molly Soda, writers Holly Melgard and Trisha Low, Jean Queen Sophie Hardeman, playwright Margaret Perry, and more.
